Hi Jeremy,
I have been accumulating AUC for around 7 years now, as i believed the company would go all the way to mining the gold. This offer floored me along with the majority of retail investors i believe. It stinks of an underhanded deal.
Dorward has a lot of explaining to do.
My wife and I own a total of 300,000 shares and we will be voting NO.
We are not big investors, just regular mum and dad investors looking for a comfortable retirement.
We thank you for your letter to the board, and pray we can get a fairer deal for all.
Thank you
Alan & Tracey Anderson
The Aussie cos acquisition values are generally paltry relative to their upside potential. I would argue that Hemi which was a really superior asset was also too cheap. Fingers crossed there will be a competing bidder.
Thank you for such a well-researched and brilliant letter. You have put the directors on notice. In fairness, we need to see their detailed reasons for selling out. And, furthermore, a detailed response to your letter point by point. Should make interesting reading.
